The film grew from a desire to tell the emotional history of my family and to represent something that I know terribly well, looking for issues in routines I thought were seamless and new aspects in the seemingly trivial; this was done with the awareness of being able to recount a kind of microcosm which I was native to. The red line between the times and moments of the film is marked by an involution and evolution of love – in a broad sense of the word. The construction of a house, of a piece of furniture, of a family that is slowly but surely crumbling: the love ends.Love takes on yet other forms.
